Some times when I send out a message to my buddies asking if they want to go shoot I don’t mean photography. Besides preparing for the eventual zombie apocalypse I do enjoy heading to the range to punch some holes in paper targets. I recently ran across a product picture that used colored gels as main colors and thought it looked interesting so this is my take on that picture. If you ever see me out at Metcalf Shooting range make sure to stop and say hi.
A couple weeks back I got to visit with Candace and Paul whose wedding I shot last summer. It was her Grandmothers Birthday and what better way to celebrate than get as many family members together as possible and take a few photos. We ended up at villa Montalvo in Saratoga. What a beautiful place on such a great day. Weather could not have cooperated more. I will be returning soon to explore more of the property. Special thanks to the whole family for making the photo session completely enjoyable. Enjoy the photos.

This past weekend my buddy Mike offered take me out to the Santa Cruz Tunnels for a little light painting and steel wool fun. It was raining pretty hard this last week here in Northern California but we lucked out with our timing as it didn’t actually rain on our shoot. Here are some of the shots!
